661 Evo helmet question.

Had my 661 evo composite full facer for about 5-6 months now, and after a muddy couple of weekends, it needed a wash.

Out came the liner, and that got washed.

But my question sits with the hard foam liner, the actual but that protects your noggin..

After taking the soft material liner out, the foam liner actually rotates about 1cm front and back in total, it seems like it's not actually connected to the outer shell at all.

Now, i never looked at it in detail when i got it, but is this normal? Do other helmets not have the outer shell glued to the inner hard foam?

Cheers.

Some are glued in, some are rivited in, some are taped on, some are just wedged in there (like yours). The foam portion on my Procomp Bravo is wedged in there real tight. So long as the outer shell isn't compromised and you have everything installed properly you're ok. If the small bit of play has you concerned, a little bit of adhesive will work. Not too much as to make it difficult to remove when needed though. Usually a dab or two of shoe goo will do ya. Good luck.
