8.5"x2.5" is standard shock size for a Bullet 2003 & up..

Will a 8.75"x2.75" fit..
I think it will if the swingarm doesn't hit the seattube first ?

yes it will work. when i first got my bullit i bought a shox form someone who works at SC, he said it was fine. it will make you BB a little higher and your HA a little steper. all you have to make sure of is have to move the mount to the farther postion to accomindate (sp?) for the longer shox

Some people have removed the shuttle and put a 9x3.0 in the Bullit. You have to drill the front 6mm hole out to a 8mm and it works. The 9x3.0 can cause problems, but they can be fixed. The tire will hit the seat, unless the seat is as far forward as possible. Bigger tires will hit the seat or seat tube too. Most people run a rear 24" to get the geometry back to normal and BB height back down. Then you dont have to worry about the rear tire hitting the seat tube or seat.

You should be fine with the 8.75x2.75. You could remove the shuttle and drill the front hole out and keep your same geometry. Or you can just bolt it on and mess with you geometry a little.
