What sort of adapter is needed to run a 8" hayes setup on the rear of a racelink?

A standard hayes adapter does not seem to provide proper contact between the pads and the rotor. (only partial contact i.e. the brake caliper is too far out.

Thanks

a stock rear 6" hayes mounts directly to a 7inch(185mm) rotor. so with a 7(185mm) rear adapter you should be able to get the 8inch rear to work.

i don't know anything about racelinks, but sometimes adapters simply need spacing. i run two or three ~1mm spacers between the dropout and adapter on my canfield f1 (with its odd 165mm rear axle width and correspondingly wide hadley hub)
