I have a 2004 Marzocchi 888 8" RC, and last weekend I noticed some oil leaking out the bottom of the right fork leg (I think, could've been the top tho...) anyways I wanted to know how if someone could please give me some instructions/guidelines for putting new oil in, replacing the seals or according to my shop the "crush" washer on the bottom (any of the 3 or all would be greatly appreciated) thanks.

There are o-rings around the bolts that hold the lowers on, if the o-ring gets crushed it will sometimes leak. I haven't heard of anyone blowing seals but it could be that. If not, there were a bunch of lowers that had problems in casting, they are actually porous enough that oil seeps out through the wall. Sometimes it only happens under compression - the extra pressure is enough to open little holes, so it's hard to find by inspecting the fork. It will look fine but when you come back from a ride you will see oil.

As for tips on servicing the fork, www.go-ride.com has a great tuning article, much better than anything produced by Marz. If you follow that article you'll find it's pretty easy to service the 888.

well thats what it was, i noticed that the oil wasn't coming from the seals or the bottom, so the oil has been seaping out of the lowers (apparently the guy at my shop said this has been happenin quite frequently)

Well, it's happened often enough that a lot of people are aware of it, but I don't know about "quite frequently." Not enough for a recall or anything like that, and Marz has been pretty good about fixing it. You might want to just send them your fork. If not make sure they send you seals with the lowers, a friend of mine had his lowers replaced under warranty for a different reason and they sent him a new set without seals.
