90's bands that you can't stand...

Those retards used to hang out at the skatepark in jacksonville begging people to come to their shows.

How enough people managed to actually give them money for music......I'll never understand. This acts as a basis for my hatred of humanity in general.

I got a new life
You would hardly recognize me
I'm so glad
How can a person like me care for you?
Why do I bother
When you're not the one for me?
Oo-oo oo oo-oo
Is enough, enough?

Chorus:
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
Life is demanding without understanding
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
No-one's gonna drag you up
To get into the light where you belong
But where do you belong?

Under the pale moon
For so many years, I've wondered
Who you are
How could a person like you bring me joy?
Under the pale moon
Where I see a lot of stars
Oo-oo oo oo-oo
Is enough, enough?

Chorus
Oh, oh, oh-oh

I saw the sign and it opened up my mind
And I am happy now livin' without you
I've left you
Oh, oh, oh-oh

I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign
No-one's gonna drag you up
To get into the light where you belong

I saw the sign, I saw the sign
I saw the sign
I saw the sign, I saw the sign
I saw the sign, I saw the sign
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes
I saw the sign

good list, but i will say Oasis had at least a couple of good songs ("Don't Look Back In Anger" being one of them), and i personally don't mind Foo Fighters.

oh, and don't base yr hatred re: Chumbawumba if you've only ever heard "Tubthumpin'"

Live- I once threw their CD out the window at a road sign, sadly I missed and somewhere in VT lies a functioning Live CD.

Arse of Base is up there.

Definitely Maybe was (is) a great album. I once heard Noel Gallagher say in an interview that "I said all I ever wanted to say in a rock song when I wrote Rock and Roll Star". Certainly my favourite.

Damnit! Brittney screwed with a bunch of stuff on my Facebook when I forgot to logout on her computer. I fixed most of it right away, but I missed that one. Thanks for pointing that out!:busted:

Front Range, dude...
-Nirvana (Know what Kurt Cobains last words were? "Hey Courtney, is this thing loaded?")
-Smashing Pumpkins (I grew up near Chicago, knew a girl who dated Corgan in HS, he was a prick even then.)
- Any other grunge bands. Man I am glad that movement died with KC.
- Wham (Early 90s...)
- Dave Matthews? 90s? Either way, hatedhatedhatedhated...

just curious as to how you pigeonhole 'grunge'.

to me, it signifies loud, messy guitar rock, influenced equally by Blue Cheer and the Stooges. i love that sound.

i will admit that some of the more prominent major label bands who got stuck w/ that tag don't really fit it, but i do like a lot of the Sub Pop records that came out from '88 to '94 or so.

I am having a hard time thinking of any good bands out of the 90's. :banghead:

except
At The Drive In
Rancid
Modest Mouse
Dropkick Murpheys
Roadside Monument
Rage Against the Machine

There may be a few others, but the rest of it can burn!

It's almost easier to list the 10-15 good bands the came out in the 90's
