I just want to say, 96's are the greatest things the Marine Corps ever invented. This is my first one and I love it. Doing nooooooothing and no formation on Monday morning. Back home in Massachusetts and just sitting on my butt scratching myself in various unmentionable places.

Thats what the mornings are for. Times like tomorrow morning I'm going to be glad that I'm used to waking up at 0430.


And a 96 is usually on a national holiday. It means that you have 96 hours of vacation basically. Put in for an out of bounds chit and you can go past whatever distance limits your command sets for it. So to make it short and sweet, I'm on a mini vacation until tuesday.
