Ended up being some dried latex between the rim and tire.

So this flat was also because tubeless.

More like fucking cheap tires. I had a Vredestein Killer Bee on the back until I brought the HD's and never looked back.

I got a number of flats running a HD on the rear. Even with the giant volume.

This was with tubes, though.

That tire's sidewalls sucked donkey nuts.

No issues here whatsoever beyond the flat once.

I'd imagine you'd not really have much trouble with them in NL.

We have a lot of rocks here.

It also wears pretty well on tarmac as I use my ML8 on the road often.

Well considering I ride hard as fuck (I try to find urban challenges as much as possible i.e riding off stairs with high speeds) they hold up pretty well.

Meh. Stairs are nothing. Try acres of sharp, pointy rocks. Often times pointing AT you as you're coming at them.

My old boss of 5 weeks got promoted on. Today I met my new boss who gave me an even more obscure set of objectives. All in all I have little to no expectations or fucking anything to do over the next month or two. It is nice being stress free but I fucking hate being bored. Slowly identifying the other mountain bikers on site, need to cherry pick projects to work with them.
