mtbr.com has made the choice to open the gateway that is the VT/NH/ME Reg. Forum. My expert-prediction is either the same garbage threads return or, like TGR - the site allows nudes.

this message brought to you by the Office of Redundancy Office.

(also, I'm starting to buy into kidwoo's 'every thread is really about food' theory :tinfoil: )
I thought all life's discussions always ended with pooping. Perhaps our threads just don't go through the full progression.

I have no idea where I am
I have a lot to say so listen up here:

Good morning!

We're currently getting our first snowfall of the season. It's supposed to be only an inch or two, that's what she said.

Swam 2600 yards early this morning and it was a slow struggle. It happens. Run or bike planned later.

Wife just got back from the weekly grocery pickup and we are now restocked. Hooray food!!

So follow me here...normally before my morning workout, I'll start up the fancy new coffee maker, get dressed, pause the coffee maker and pour myself a mug, then restart the machine and drink the rest after my workout. Well this morning I forgot to restart the machine right away so I did that two hours later, which means the coffee grounds were basically reused. I gotta say it's not great the second time through. The coffee tastes weak and funky and didn't get as hot. So, if I make that mistake again, I'll be sure to use fresh grounds. I am telling you this story so you all can learn from my mistake. You're welcome.

DOT has decided to close my street to car traffic in liu of a pedestrian street. Nice idea but can't say I am happy about resultng foot traffic, noise and loitering of diseased meat bags in front of my house during a pandemic.

Perhaps set up a barber shop right out there in the street?

I recently put up a poorly scrawled "No Soliciting" sign on the front door after getting interrupted while working. It looks like something a mentally unstable person would make, exactly what I was going for.

Wait, aren't you living in freedom land? Don't they have to do a public hearing and shit like that before going ahead?

No, but it isn't fully closed. I still get to drive on it as well as delivery and emergency vehicles.

Really, we are just getting a passive aggressive sign with some unenforceable recommendations that will attract throngs of people and their screaming children. I'd rather have the traffic.

Boss just texted me saying he's very much looking forward to me coming back, and that doing both our jobs resulted in half-assing both of them (his words).

While that's quite nice to hear, I know I'm coming back to a shitstorm.:fie:

Good thing I live in the philly area.
Yeah you have easy access to Denics in the Reading Terminal. No fucking around with a silly Cheese Steaks when you can get a Proper Pork Sandwich. They come on a Amorosso Roll also... My Uncle used to take me to a place in Fishtown called Latanzanos or something? It was a steak and red sauce place. They would always put Peppers and Onions on it whether you wanted them on the sandwich or not.

Then again, the best old fashioned I've ever had, hands down, was at the Whiskey Library in downtown Philly.

Pretty much the only redeeming quality, really. :p

EDIT - got that wrong...it was Village Whiskey. Other place was Portland, OR.

Just got a text from a former colleague whose accts I took over when he left in April. It's a key focus acct for us and the new person has been REALLY slow to learn and not getting on board with all the training I've been trying to give her. She's live and I'm off the acct as of today. He's been getting calls with people freaking out about the market so I passed her info along to him. She's about to get hammered with panicking people, just before the election, without a strong understand of the analytics behind our investment logic.

Did you tell her to tell them all to vote for Biden if they want some sanity/stability in their investment lives? :D
