E-bike would look good on a Tesla.
Smug?
nah man. if we got to him there'd be a battery sticking out of his chinLooks like one of you guys already got to poor ol' Steve
I think Gary might be sober again. Quick, someone get him a beer, an eight ball, some laudanum or whatever his poison of choice is.
You seem like a purple drank speedball kind of guy.[true story] Was done with that shit 25 years ago.
@Westy's recomendation of self medication is far more to my taste
conclusion : DH bikes these days are too light. once again nico was right.Spoilers:
If you don't ride with a fullface helmet, your not riding flat out. Simple as that.Watching him ride the downhillbike with that jersey and a halfshell/goggle-combo made me shudder with glee and disgust.
I agree! If you don't ride with a fullface helmet, your not riding flat out. Simple as that.
Result invalid.
I'd actually really like an E-bike...
are you holding out for the orange ebike to get better battery life?Ignoring th dubious results in the video above. I'd actually really like an E-bike. Riding up hills for hours on end to enjoy a few minutes of descending for the last 30 years has been ok but I'd never say no to a lift. So why wouldn't I want a motor to help reduce the climbing time and increase the number of descents I can get to?
The main thing holding me back is the poor range the batteries seem to have. A normal morning/afternoon ride on my 33lb 170mm bike is a minimum of 4000ft climbing and around 11-14miles. But from what I've read that seems to be about the range of one battery on all the systems around just now rendering the idea pointless.
Geometry and looks aren't great on most of them either (yet).
I was hoping that's what YTs last hype campaign was gonna be about.
Yup time to go back to those sub 42 pound bikes, conclusion : DH bikes these days are too light. once again nico was right.
