a dH bike or hardtail at snowshoe for riding?

The trails at Snowshoe are rocky and slick (slimy, muddy). As for bringing your Evil well i will be racing sport DH at the norba national on my Evil.;) :D I think a hardtail will be a whole lot of fun out there. Lots of really tech lines. Sure you won't be as fast as the full squish guys but you should have just as much fun.

... if you want to ride uphill or not. They run a shuttle from the top to bottom for about $20/day. Not sure if it's running yet, though. Give them a call or check their site. I've ridden downhill there all day on a hard tail and had a great time, but I'm sure it would be more fun with a DH bike. I'm sure you can also come up with some nice XC loops. Check out the 24 hour course if that's what you want.
