If you ever get a chance to visit Maribor do it! The dh track is amazing. Leogang is a nice park but the dh track is just crazy worn out.

I agree. I had so much fun riding both the race course, as well as the rest of the trails in Maribor. Tons of fun.
It's like a normal handlebar without the rise.
Was it last year or some time before that? Mid summer 2010 they started a huge rebuild of the whole bikepark area. The locals seem really cool people and seem like they know what they are doing. I have already booked a hotel for late april 1 week visit
I rode it the last 2 years actually. The race track is rad, but the other trails are a bit more flowy and are definitely more loamy. That race track is BEAT up.
From what I remember the roots sticked out the same 3 or 4 years ago. It just seems normal there
As for the flowy tracks - there are helmetcams and some photos flowing the new. They have rebuild the FR track from scratch and build an extra new one. They were digging like crazy to make it before the Trond Hansen/Specialized Bike Camp.
