so thepriceseligar and i drove to lubbock first do ride there
indoor park, its fun but small more skate stuff. it was closed
b/c they had a water main break. I had heard of trails near
by so we hit a drainadge bank ditch and road down stream
till i heard voices, no not bumbs but dirt jumpers.
we found them! no pics of the trails b/c they were curb heigh
and i didn't want to go back to get the camera. there was a
only line that had not been jumps for some time. i grabbed
a flat and got it rideable, it was there big line and it was about 2'
so we cut out to go ride some downtown street.
there was a fun adtrium area with brick stairs that all had
rounded edges, great for riding up w/o flatting. there was water
running around, with different levels to go up and down.
we got runn off quick, there was a schin-ding happ'in.
ok now for a few pics.
we mainly shot video. not it was off to midland to ride there park
the next day. stayed the night with some kindfolks did some work
in midland i was there for then hit the park. they have a fun 4' deck
spine withd lots of hips off it. perfect for light morning play. price
went down on a pedal stall brusing his quad bad and was down for
the cound at this stop. this park is super fun its glass smooth and
has everything!
we road till we were worked then off to drive 2hrs to abilene that
was said had a sick park. we got there about 2:30 and it was a bit
windy, nothing new there. the park had a good layout but was very
unfinished, like a sidewalk. and a few transitions were super bumpy.
i hit my calf in abilene doing a feble and was dead leg like price.
we road around a bit and it would have been a fun for a home park.
the groms were very annoying so we cut out on our 5 hr drive home.
