I heard that told in his words on "Story Core" this morning. It's hard to believe that it's true.

    Why?

Randomly helping another person or situation is the meaning of life.

Great to know there are good people out the willing to do something just because it is right.

if it's too good to be true, it probably is...

reads like a bit of fiction to me.. but i suppose it's possible, just not probable.

I bet it happens more often then not.

They just don't seek out a story to be written about them.

It reminds me of my uncle who used to take homeless people into a local diner and buy them a meal instead of giving them money! He always said that if I give them money they are going to get a "liquid meal of booze" and if I buy them a meal then I know that they have eaten!

he also used to collect sox at his work for the homeless... I miss him a lot!

thanks Stinky there are a lot of good people out there... thanks for reminding me about them!

and N 8... I knew you would be pessimistic in your analysis of it... it is against the right wing thought process to think of anyone but yourself, or think that someone else could think of anyone but themself! :monkey:

Cool story. Don't confuse conservative principles with N8. Doing the right thing is cool, no matter what your principles.

I didn't mean it literally. I heard the guy himself tell the story.
Having been a recent victim of property crime, it's hard to imagine myself having anything but rage towards a mugger.
Makes you step back a bit....
