if you got nothing to loose, and your prospect is a low paying job in AZ, forget all that crap and move to some metro area in brazil or chile or peru...

you can easily land an english teacher job that pays 900-1000 bucks a month, and with that afford an appartment equivalent to a 2k a month appartment in the US, a full-time maid, afford eating out and partying and dhing every weekend.

plus you´d get to know in the school lots of late teen, early 20 chicks in the school that dig americans...
i know lots of french and american young fellas doing that around here....

with a 1000 bucks a month salary here, you´ll live a life equivalent to the life you´d live in the us with a 80k a year salary....
Damn! Where do I sign up!??!?!

The other benefit to Arizona is that you would be able to get good Mexican food. I've had what you east coasties call Mexican, and it isn't.

check out the American cultural exchange institutes and bi-national instittions. they teach english and are always hiring... specially native-speakers...

or the equilvalents in brazil or chile, as long as they are in metro areas like Rio de Janeiro, Lima, Santiago or Sao Paulo, living standards within the decent parts of the cities are usually better than those in most places of the US at much more affordable prices, thats why i moved back from the US.......

is it just coincidence that my best friend is the brewer there?
It's your call man, but if you have no ties right now, go where you want too!!! I'm all about new places, moved over 30 times now. You'll learn alot if you move, and if you fall on your @ss, get up and try it again, what do you have to loose?

fill a water bottle with red gatorade and go stand in front of some snow. close your eyes, and spray it wildly into the snow, waving and squirting. when the bottle is empty read what you have written. it works with pee too.

idk is flagstaff very hot? if you can manage where you are i say stay. probably in the long run it will be cheaper to stay, not having to re-settle. just barely get by until another job opening comes

Ben, I can get you a job in Nashville if you just need money. Dont leave the east. We didnt have all those indians removed for nothing. Stay, fish, drink beer and be poor. Whats wrong with that?

I'm hardley upset over you on a forum  Just stating that your comment was un-called for, but then again, ignorant people make comments like that all the time. And from reading your posts, it lets me know that your just another prick in the world so comments like the one you made are expected...you're quiet sad :(

Well you really don't have much to lose, so why not experience something new. I love asheville, but the job market does sound pretty pitiful. Flagstaff would be tight, and if all you're looking to do is chill and ride in a sweet town, a bar job isn't real bad.

OR

Buy a tiny house in the hills in Brevard, sell your car, get job as a wrench, and become a dirty townie hippie. Ride bike to work. Be poor and happy.
