Here's a 1963 public service film on the dangers of bicycle riding:

A group of children, all wearing ape masks, rides their bicycles to the park for a picnic. Along the way, all but one are eliminated for violating basic bike safety rules.

heh, now that I've flipped through the whole thing, my favs are probably the kid run over by a steam roller and the two who inexplicably fell into a well in the middle of the street.
