Schwag!
Tuesday night SDMBA held it's Volunteer Appreciation Awards for last years top volunteers. Some of the schwag awarded included several jerseys and baggies from Zoic and Nema, socks from Sockguy and Shimano pedal/shoe combo sets. I myself scored a pair of M647 and M540 pedals!
This year we have a grand prize of a complete bicycle, generously provided by Haro Bicycles (thanks, dhjill!). The lucky recepient will receive an X3 with a good trail bike build kit.

I personally would like to congratulate fellow Monkey EBasil. Erik was awarded special recognition by SDMBA for his efforts in keeping trails open to the mtb community at Los Penasquitos.
I would also like congratulate Miki Hidaka (my girlfriend :heart: ) who was awarded special recognition by SDMBA for her effort in creating a Kids' mtb program for Outdoor Outreach (www.outdooroutreach.org), another great group that offers outdoor experiences to at-risk and underprivileged youth.
