Got a interesting question about the dish. Does the signall come from actaull orbiting satelites or is it a ground transmitter? And what kind of wave is it, elecltromagnetic or somthing else?
And has any one ever had it, my family is considering getting "the dish".

I just got mine monday, its a satelite. I like it alot so fr and it is was cheaper than normal cable and I can watch shows before they come ot the west coast. :D I say it is worth it! Great picture, tons of channels and Sirius music, its pretty cool I pay 40 $ for 120 channel, and all my local ones.

I've got directTV. It's OK I guess... not really all that impressed with it. Not any cheaper or more expensive than cable for us.
