I don't know how to use this camera. It's got a little remote control, so the photog can get in frame. Well the rock I set the camera on was a little out of range of said remote. I was running close enough to get in remote range, then run back to sit. I didn't quite make it in time. Everyone got a good laugh out of it. Jackass.
There was a bunch more ugly climbing, but I was busy with the riding. Once on top I busted out the camera again.
The view. Overcast day, but can still see the ocean. Down below us are blueberry fields. If you follow along the right hand edge of the field down to the front edge ( can barely make out a house down there ) that's close to where the ride started.
Lots of open granite to play on up top. I had more pics but it was getting dark, started raining, and the camera didn't have enough battery to use the flash.
Final pic. It was starting to rain harder, and we began to start going back down hill. Some how the camera came up with enough juice, and my man Mike with good timing on the shutter, to snap me on this little rock drop. Makes me look like I know what I'm doing.
Yeah, it was a blast. The ride back down in the dark was pure carnage. Glen (who still runs rim brakes had one of the rear brake studs shear off. Half way down with a front v-brake only.
