I rode from my house to the trails behind Del Valle Dam. It was sleeveless jersey and shorts weather out there today. I might have ridden a mile on pavement from my front door getting over there. The flat fire roads of Sycamore Grove was a nice warm up but I still got my arse handed to me on the climb up and past the Dam. Right now I have to face it that I'm an old fat man that needs to kick his arse back in gear

Single track
all in all a really nice 3 hour ride that covered 15-16 miles. I have enough miles on my Trek Fuel to know what is really nices what is adequate and what just sucks. Starting with the suck: Hayes Dyno brakes...serious lack of stopping power with the stock 160mm rotor. I need to go 185 or 205. adequate: Bontrager tires and the Sram shifters, Nice the shocks and frame combo, very nicely balanced
