It's a Ridemonkey video extravaganza! We've got clips from Anthill and the Coastal Crew, along with some words to tie it all together. The Coastal Crew has also made three short clips previewing Avid's Code brake.

The Coastal Crew had a rowdy time at Sea Otter; they are consistently some of the busiest guys in the industry. Filming, racing, and generally Sea Ottering takes a lot out of you! Check out the video below and their words on the situation.

Sea Otter is a long trek for most people, especially for those who have to drive down. Fortunately for us, we had a big black diesel van to travel in. It actually felt like a motor home with the amount of space inside. With the pedal down and the GPS guiding us, we rolled into Monterey, home of the Sea Otter Classic, 18 hours after our departure from Vancouver.

With constant media flowing on the web during the event we decided that Sea Otter needed to be shown in a different light. It?s about the journey, the crowd, the mechanics, the athletes, the race results and the true feeling of the event.

The event itself is like a big social gathering with a bunch of racing squeezed in between. It is always exciting to see all of the new products, all of the people in the industry and everyone?s new sponsors. With racing of all disciplines going on in all directions, it was hard to cover every event, but we worked at capturing a good variety.

This year the weather was on our side, so we soaked up the rays and enjoyed the beautiful California hills before heading home to the coast of B.C.

Big thanks go out to Terry Cox and crew of College Cyclery for hooking us up with a great place to set up camp.

Anthill Films also dropped a video recently. Fortunately for all of us, it's about the single most entertaining mountain biker ever, Cam McCaul.

Cam McCaul is a funny guy. He was the MC at the world premiere of Follow Me in Monterey and he made Darcy do a back flip on stage in front of 1,100 people - that was funny. What was funnier was that Darcy actually managed to land it. Anyway, here's a profile we shot with Cam last summer at Mount Washington on Vancouver Island. This is basically Darren Berrecloth's backyard so he came out and built some custom dirt jumps and the crew captured it all in some epic light. Seems like a lifetime ago now that the film is almost out (any day now - stay tuned for details), but it's pretty funny because it's about Cam... and he's a funny guy.
