Floating down the Hudson
I spent last week with six of my riding buddies, spending the evenings on the deck of an awesome 4-floor condo and long days exploring Kingdom Trails in VT.

10 minutes out of the gate and Firemandivi's already bleeding

Webbs...Old Webbs...One of the two

The witchdoctor's got skills...

...at least until he finds some mud on Jaw

The mud also claimed Divi, who hit (with a huge splash) a waist-deep spot off of the river run

Kitchells

Pound Cake

Sugarhouse Run

The group hanging out in heaven

Climbing up to the cow pasture...and up...and up...

We decided to climb the switchbacks (which parallel the Burke Toll Road) up to Dead Moose Alley.

The trail was an absolute blast and the downhill was smooth and fast. Best of all, it landed us right at our back door (trail is just to the left and comes down the mountain)

Our (surprisingly cheap!) digs at the base of Burke Mountain

I shouldn't have wiped off the blood before the picture :(
That water felt so good, but my azz was soaked the rest of the ride.
Awesome vacation, thanks for planning it all, you did a great job:cheers:

Ok so how much does a week on the base of Burke Cost ? is it a better option than the B&B's ?
For a longer trip, with several people, it definitely is. We had 7 people for 5 nights and it was about $140 per person. Not bad for the location (Lodge trail is right off the deck), a full kitchen, linens, cable/dvd and washer/dryer.
