Man up and go to Junior College like they all do in California. That way you can get in without applying and in 2 years, transfer without an essay.

I worked 40+ hours a week while I got my BS degree (full time student). But I also made $75k my last year of school.

Some of us (like Manimal and others) have to support a family.

I was "lucky" in that I fell into my career long before I went to school. But as my career grew, education became more important in proving on paper what I already knew. I am glad to hear about young people who focus on education early. I lacked the ability to see the importance until later in life, so I got to learn how to deal with life without sleep.

My initial comment was more smart-assed than serious. I have never taken any form of entrance exam, or had to apply to any school. I did have to apply for loans though.
