"Since coming out of nowhere back in '08 to score a top ten finish at his first ever World Cup race, Aaron has solidified himself not just as America's best racer but one of the worlds best. Although Aaron is new to the mountain bike scene, he is no stranger to two wheels. Since as far back as he can remember, he was riding something in the dirt. As a youngster, "Gwinny" competed in BMX. From BMX, he graduated to motocross racing and while he had some success, he was plagued by injuries and eventually called it quits. In his third full season of MTB racing "Gwiny" scored numerous podiums and finished 4th overall in Word Cup series title. Not bad for a guy who rode his first downhill bike less than four years ago."
