How could anyone have made sense of that babble? No offense Alexis_DH, but please take the time to outline and think through your argument before you write it down. If anything your argument reminded me of some kind of "stream of consciousness" style of writing that everyone had to read in highschool. Maybe that is an appropriate style if you are writing a novel, however, it is certainly not the best approach to make a convincing argument. Although I disagree with your underlying argument, (presumably based on the concept that a person is formed as soon as, but not before, the sperm fertilizes the egg) it is not wholly without merit. However, in its current form your argument lacks cohesion and thus persuasive force.

Edit: added "it"

OK , I see where BS is coming from , and if you don't think it is used a a form of birth control you are dead wrong . just look at Russia.

By the most conservative estimates, Russia had 3 million to 4 million abortions last year - more than double the number of births. The rate is roughly four times higher than in the United States, and the average Russian woman, it is guessed, has three to eight abortions.
In the Soviet Union it was the only method of family planning,''

and BS asked a Very Basic question , and most every one has tap danced around it .

That's just Russia being stupid though.

Almost like not treating a medical problem (for various reasons, patient can't pay, no doctors, etc.) and then taking care of it at the Emergency Room for 5 times the price.

I don't think I tapped danced around it. Didn't say it can't be used....said it shouldn't be used. Right?

BS I have addressed BS on all his questions general or directed at me. If I didnt let me know and I will respond. ;)

He tried to goat me into a question and I let him have it. I wasn't wavering or avoiding the subject. The topic and people changed a little but the questions were asked and answered.

No tap dancing/avoiding was done. The answer he wanted wasn't given that is all. :)

I disagree.

You either misunderstood, or pretended to for about a page and a half, when it should have been a yes or no and why question. But I dont care or anything, and i wasnt goating you in, I was really just curious.

Again...........

I did answer....much after you were trolling for an emotional reponse.

I have no problem allowing abortions....when needed. Moral or otherwise. I have a problem of using abortion as the only form of that persons birth control. It isn't a morals issue for me, but if someone opposed abortions, on morals, than it would be to them.
How does that not answer your question?

I am against abortions as a form of birth control....when there are easy and cheap ways to go about it. That doesn't harm the mother or father with a surgery.

The fact that you don't agree it should or should not be an option isn't part of teh question.

You asked do we agree with abortions and if so how do we feel about it as a form of birth control.

I beleive it should be an option available. But not used as a persons only use of BC. That i made l cleat in my posts.

I guess you could choke on a condom... or get a bad rubber burn.....:D

Like I said, that was a page and a half later and still didnt answer what I clarified.
I was wondering if you had a moral issue with abortion as a form of birth control. Not a cost issue or any of the trillion other items people have thrown out.
DO YOU HAVE A MORAL ISSUE WITH USING ABORTION AS A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL?

... and there's his answer.

There are two issues here. BS is intending to ask about the morality of abortion-baby while several of us answered in terms abortion-mother. Nobody tap dance.

I think BS didn't realize that concern over abortion as birth control has little or nothing to do with the fetal blob, and everything to do with the mothers health.

Please correct me if I misunderstood.
