i have a 2010 GT Avalanche Expert with a RS Recon 335 fork thats adjustable from 85-130mm. what should i set it to, to make climbing the easiest. it has a lockout too, that i turn off
technically - if you lower the fork it will steepen the head angle, put you more upright, shift weight forward and make climbing easier. so strictly speaking - you should use the 85mm setting for climbing. However, depending on the bike geometry, you may find that too steep and uncomfortable - try both on a long steep hill and see what feels best.
