What do you use?

I just bought MS Small Business Accounting 2006.

Ouch - my head was spinning last night trying to set it up. (this may be from my lack of real accounting knowledge...)

Cool app though. I use Quickbooks at my day job, and all I can say is SBA is way cleaner so far. Also, the next version will have eBay and Paypal integrated.

I like PP integration! How much did it run you? Could you get a kid to buy it for you so you can get a student discount?

edit: I'm still just using excel

BTW - how's the biz?

I'm just now finishing a complete re-do of my shop. New screen room, paint, electrical, washout booth, etc.

Pics later.

Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
I think that the ability to efficiently perform mundane, everyday tasks is extremely important as well. A front end that looks and feels good will only get you so far........
v.2 is never very good at the mundane stuff. But that's more a function of the user being caught up by the fancy front end of v.2 after being with v.1 for so long.

To be honest, I've had a regular day-job all summer and despite my lack of effort, sales have been consistent, if not a flat. The sweat shirt was being bought by Floridians in July, so I think its pretty succesful.

Laek House is now carried by VeloGear and also Pricepoint.

I'm trying to find a graphic artist/designer to help me execute some concepts I haven't been able to finish. Thankfully there are plenty of Undergrads in the area, so I should be able to do that for cheap.

I'm going to I-B and I'm going to stop by the SGIA conference too to see what the pros offer. Still have to get the heat unit, but I'm working up to it...

All-in-all, business is good! Oh yeah, I was in some Polish magazine last month too!

My wife has been using Quicken Deluxe and seems to like it. I use a combo of sticky notes and amount of cash in my pocket.

No inventory or other advanced features, but it has the Paypal and eBay integration.

Pretty sweet.
