i was thinking of getting one of these for my 10 year old. used if possible. he's got a force one , norco. it weighs 33 #.


the stinky 24 is a lot more bike, but i was concerned about the weight.

they list the kona weight at 33 #. but the force one is listed as 29# and it's actually 33 #. so does kona fib too?

Heavy. Well theres this kid that races one and yesterday i helped him load it onto the shuttle truck and I can honestly say I'd rather load my Stab than his Stinky 24. I could be wrong though, it may just feel heavier than it is.

I owned like a 2004? Maybe a little earlier kona stinky 24. It weighed in at like 34 lbs.

If you want to shave a littel weight cheap!!!!!
You can always pick it up used and swap some parts, theres a ton of good deals right now and alot of takeoffs floating around for minimal...

That bike is cool, I saw a few years ago a guy built up a small SC bullit for his kid and the little guy ripped on it... Just a thought as well. Buying it stock is easier for sure lol.
