sh|t, i ride in a 99.9% gunkless environment and i would not give that second look at all after a ride. especially considering it contains nothing you'd be worried about losing - oil, air, dampeningening. plus the gunk line lets you know how much infinity you used.

As in: there's a lot of lateral load being thrown onto two itty bitty stanchion bushings.

I'm just pulling that out of my ass for the most part assuming that these are similar to fork bushings. And it's not like bearings and more traditional lower linkage designs don't ever get play in them or anything. I just brought it up because it seemed like more of a reasonable thing to worry about than some dust sitting on a freshly lubed part being indicative of some inherent flaw for people who ride in mud.

You should ONLY hire him if he can design bikes that allow for ambidexterous cable routing for brakes.
Or hire someone in marketing that doesn't talk wonders about the beautiful cable routing and the wonderful arc's it has around the headtube. Oh wait - unless you run your brakes moto, then you have run the rear brake cable smack bang on the headtube (sigh, so close SC, so damn close!!)
