I am wondering from experience what you guys have found works well to setup a pike to be a little stiffer for DJ and park. I don't want it moving around like crazy, but I know clamping down the floodgate could result in a blown fork. What works best with out a concern of blowing things up? I'm not real keen on replacing the springs either, just looking to adjust as capable with the stock settings.

FYI, I'm running the fork at 80mm, I weight between 165-170lbs, not sure if their is anything else you need to know

you need to replace the spring at your weight, thats your best option.

I'm using the 426 coil (same thing just solid steerer and tube) and I weigh about 150 lbs and I need a new spring with the fork on complete lock-out. For DJ and park, the stock spring is just to soft for me.
