Just built up a new bike and im having a nightmare of a time getting the shifting dialed in. I've been running sram 9speed stuff for years and never had much trouble, but this new build is killing me.
I set the limit screws without the chain or cables run (as I've always done). I ran the cables and put in the chain (nothing unusual there), and only expected to have to fine tune cable tension a bit. After lots of tweaking and trial and error, shifting remains sloppy and i can rarely get the chain up on the biggest cog.
Does that sound like a tension issue? Is there anything different about the new 10speed stuff that im missing? this shouldn't be that hard.
