I feel the need to run to Sears for that Mongoose. Yeah, babyyou mean the ads like the mongoose bike between my post and yours? ya, focking annoying!
cheaper:
127.0.0.1 ads.peer39.com
Can I use credits?
and all the puntersEither way, the ads are a bit much and starts to feel like MTBR, which I never even joined due to all the commercialism.
Ignoring them is cheaper...
So before there were Google ads after the first post, often times not bike related at all, and now there is a bike related ad instead, and because of that you spend less time here?It does impact the time I spend on RM, but let the market decide.
RM should lay off some mods to cut costs...This is because the forum pages are dynamically generated from a very large, very busy database.
If you don't like the ads, buy a premium membership. Running this site is far from cheap and costs more per month than some people's rent.
They can't fire some one who doesn't have a job.RM should lay off some mods to cut costs...
LOL right dude. Nobody has ever been banned for complaining about an ad. What does "membership cancelled" mean anyway?I once complained about the loud smiley faces that scream at you when you load a page.
Apparently one of the mods wasn't pleased, cause my membership was cancelled shortly thereafter.
You may be right....I received a PM from a Mod, saying basically to STFU. Shortly thereafter, I was no longer able to log on using my previous username, so I assumed.LOL right dude. Nobody has ever been banned for complaining about an ad. What does "membership cancelled" mean anyway?
And nobody liked the smiley ads - I don't blame you for complaining.
The King is dead. Long live the King....which costs Adam money to provide free for them...

I have an idea, why don't we just charge membership for RM in general. That way those bitching about seeing ads on the website, which costs Adam money to provide free for them, put up or shut up. That will also keep most of the under 20 crowd on Pinkbike, as they are poor.
