Advice for a trip to Baja

My fiance and I are getting married at the end of August. We can't afford to take a honeymoon immediately after the wedding but we are hoping to take a trip to Baja within a month or two.

I am looking for inexpensive bungalow style accommodations (around $100/night). I have been able to find a few good options with my googling skilz but sometimes I think that google doesn't know everything, crazy huh?

Do any well traveled monkeys have suggestions?

How set are you on Baja? My folks have been going to, and now live at, a little place called Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) for 30 years, and can direct you on what to do.

I can connect you with them if you like. Let me know.......

Not 100% set on Baja. We have both been wanting to take a trip there for years but really we just want a quiet beach and warm weather at an affordable price. If you have a lead on some beach bungalow style digs in Puerto Penasco fill me in!
