Anyone know where (or should I say if) I can get my hands a replacement knob that is less likely to crack than the stock pos plastic u turn adjuster knob that comes on the 02 RS Psylo SL forks? The plastic (what were they thinking) are known to be crap and RS/SRAM customer service seems to not be worth the bother.

I'm not aware of any aftermarket knobs, I looked around myself a few months back. Your LBS can order the new 2003 knobs, which have a rubber coating on them and aren't as slippery with sweaty hands.

I haven't had a problem with the knobs other than than them being hard to use with sweaty fingers. But I know some people have cracked them, RS has a big warning in their service manuals stating not to overtighten the adjuster knob screws. A tight screw means you need a lot of force to turn those knobs and they can crack. Still, I would prefer aluminum ones myself, mabye similar to the aluminum preload knobs RS used to use, which were really easy to turn.

I don't know about RS customer service since Sram bought them, but Sram's service has always been excellent for me, never had a problem.
