Oh ye green and buttery beauty...

We eat a lot of them...homemade guac is a staple in this house...as are stacked veggie samwiches with smooshed aguagate pulp liberally smeared on thick slices of pumpernickel.

I'm not much of a gardener (****, who can be when you have no proper yard) - but I'm attempting to grow an aguacate...

I read a lengthy article on how-to.

Anyone ever done it with success? Right now, my wee little pit looks like it's trying to poop itself, and this morning it developed a pimple on its head that is somewhat green in coloration.

This is after a week of careful maintenance and making sure it's water source is refilled and it goes inside at night and outside for a sunbath during the day.

hmmmm...i never knew they were called Agucates in español.

We love 'em too. I eat them alone with salt or with lime or balsamic too. It is the perfect snack. So f'n tasty too. Laura made an avocado soup one time that rocked.

The horticulture sounds cool. I am curious how it turns out.
