I just had my rear Hayes hydo replaces due to a broken lever. I was riding around and noticed that my rear wheel (the one that got replaced) could not lock up, I can squeeze it as hard as I want but no cigar, it also as a squishy feeling to it.

Maybe I don't know about something about disk brakes? Is there some adjustment that I don't know of? I think that the problem is that there might be air in the line, let me know what you think.

spongy = air in the system.

no power whatsoever = oil on your pads/rotor. Or that it hasn't broken in yet, but you should have decent power even before break-in.

that's kind of an oversimplification, b/c there are other causes but those are the two most likely issues you'll face.
