This whole business of attacking the character of anyone who disagrees with YOUR point of view seems to be most of these peoples' ONLY business.
Actually this was in your first post.

Those pukes at that meeting are a direct indication of how "one-way" the opposition can be. How about sit your butt down and take it in, and take it for what it's worth.

If I was Mr. Gonzalas I would shake my head and laugh, wish them good luck, and carry-on with my plan of the "allegedly" illegal wire taps. HA!

I offer a little insight from my point of view,
What was that insight again?

Try to do calmly and without insulting someone.

Law students, or students in general = highly impressionable toward biases
Do I detect a hint of jealousy? Did someone's application get rejected by the community college?

Get real. Going along with your "Have you ever been to Iraq?" thread, HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LAW SCHOOL, JACKASS?!

Sanjuro, I ask a question and an attack on my character immediately follows. This whole business of attacking the character of anyone who disagrees with YOUR point of view seems to be most of these peoples' ONLY business. I offer a little insight from my point of view, and a character attack immediately follows. I argue a point, and guess what? They attack my character. I'm not instigating this crap, but to my own dismay, I follow in suit.

Don't put the blame of attacking anyone who disagrees with me, solely on me. Look at the majority of the first replies to my thread, and you won't see content, you will see people attacking my character and motives, not attacking my questions.

So, put me on the ignore list and ignore me, or try and change my mind with some intelligence, but please don't try and correct my spelling. It's the last thing I'm worried about in a forum.
I see you missed my point about thinking analytically, so I will break down your original post:

Law students, or students in general = highly impressionable toward biases (Washington Post). Most have yet to be in the real world, and taste life as it is and can be. Those pukes at that meeting are a direct indication of how "one-way" the opposition can be. How about sit your butt down and take it in, and take it for what it's worth.

The first paragraph is a generalization about students. How familiar are you with the Georgetown School of Law? How many ex- and current military attend Georgetown Law? Is Georgetown Law considered to be a conservative or a liberal school?

(The answers are in the Global Law class of 2006, 2 military and 1 DoD analyst out of 12 students, and the faculty which donated money, 92% to democrats).

Your second paragraph about the Gonzales is not very logical. Gonzales, who as US Attorney General, is our most important representative in enforcing American law, circumvented those laws by approving domestic wiretapping. So basically our top prosecutor broke the law, but who is going to prosecute him?

Now you might be of the opinion, who cares about spying on some terrorist who is going to blow up something American? However, this scandal could easily lose him his and Bush their jobs.

Frankly, you expressed an opinion of no substance, but you wrote in a strong fashion, prompting a strong response from others. If you think it is an attack on your character, you need to rethink how you express your opinions.

Finally, no where here did I say you were stupid or a jackass. I don't think any of those things, otherwise I would write them clearly. I appreciate opinions which differ from mine, because they help shape my thoughts. But what you write is of not much value to me, so I am not particularly interested in what you have to express.

I think the amish and alwaysbroncin are both getting seriously owned in this thread. They should quit while they are ahead. Or at least not so far behind.
