Humm??? He normally uses a Nikon.

But he might have switched cameras... here's a shot of his rig. I am no camera expert, but maybe you can tell..

White lens = Canon.

Nikon makes some light grey lenses but almost all white lenses are Canon's. Looks like a 20D with the add-on battery grip.

Interesting shot.

can't tell what model the body is from that pic, but the lens is definitely a canon.

most sports guys use canon. the noise on high ISO is better too, as compared to nikon (the 1st photo you posted was @ 1600).

Let's not forget that Canon has a bigger wallet to sponser the pro photographers, too ;)

Wouldn't that be funny? Then they'd have this great marketing pull where everyone recognizes and lusts over their shocks - but not for the quality of the shock at all, just because of that knee-jerk association of the color. That'd be silly, wouldn't it? :p
