Hey, if it stops one person from running some poor kid over while drunk, then it was worth it.
Cops have been on the warpath in New England for the past 2 months pulling everyone over for ANY slight messup (including rolling through stops, not using a blinker) looking for DUIs.
So if you're gonna drive, just don't f'kin drink period.
You'll end up taking it up the ass w/o the common courtesy of a reach around if you get caught.
I second that. The consequences are too severe to mess around here.
That said, I don't remember alcohol edu addressing drinking and driving at all, its more aimed at preventing kids with no experience drinking getting in over their heads at parties their freshmen year. But I agree if it prevents one kid from trying to down a handle of vodka and dying from alcohol poisoning its worth it.
It doesnt really talk about drunk driving, its more this is how you drink and dont die. To me it seems like the school administration is saying ok fine go ahead and drink, just dont do anything that will end up on the news. But I finished it and got a 93% without really paying attention, at least its done.
This year my school is ranked #3 in the nation for partying. As you might guess police and ambulances are all too common, and its not just on the weekends unfortunately...
nope, Thats not how we roll here in Richmond. If you get too drunk, you just wait for your escort......... the VCU police paddy wagon, with a step welded on to the bumper for drunkies
(although, I do think its a good idea, way to much bad stuff happens when new college kids drink)
