gay poofs are the worst kind of poofs!
Even poofier than normal homos!
To tell the truth, if I could have my time again I'd have done a trade. Tradies earn more than doctors nowadays in Australia. They even have a term for it, "CUBS", cashed-up-bogans, bogans being roughly synonymous for rednecks.
(Ftr, I had to spell-check synonymous)

Question without notice. Why don't you go back and finish your PhD? Then I could call you Dr Fire!
Seriously mate, you are an unstoppable force, please use your powers for good.

being in the coma has seriously comprimised my degrees to a staggering mumbling of broken phrases.

when I got out of the hospital the university asked me to complete one of my hand built bachelor degree programs, when I opened up what was 80% done it was greek to me even though I had created all of the cirriculum and syllabus. had a hard time dealing with that and had moved on.

I am prefectly content with my retirement and dabbling in local fire organizations and helping here and there.

the local fire dept has been like a famaily to me and taken me back without and question in my old position, I gave them one of my purple hearts

50% to my MBA in Information Technology Management (teh suck)

I started my MBA because work said they would pay for part of it. When I left I got a bill from them for the part they had paid for. I was the jackass that failed to read the fine print and left before I had finished 1 year of employment post graduation (as I have yet to graduate).

Note to self: Read the f@cking fine print.

What college gives that?
Bush or wild fire fighting is really a full year job nowadays, every year in Australia we have the Americans and the Canadians come down to give us a hand in our fire season and in return the Aussies and the Kiwis go north mid-year and do our best. It's international co-operation as it should be.

Thanks for going mate, I know the people there are very appreciative of the international support. These bastards helped a lot apparently....

worked with erickson alot, they are right down the road from jimmydean in southern oregon
It was the big Sydney fires from 6-7 years back when I first saw those things. I remember they interviewed this bloke who said something like "one of those crazy helicopters flew over and dumped its guts all over the place and saved the joint"...... made me laugh.

They were busy as hell last week with a fire in Medford and one in Ashland. Only lasted about 36 hours, but the whole valley was smoked out. Those big ass birds get the job done.

I hear that brother. My low oxygen levels and 3 weeks in a coma certainly didn't move me any closer to a Mensa membership. I used to be a voracious reader before my accident but now its difficult for me to sit down and follow any difficult book for too long.

BS in Management.
Redundant?

As for me I'm gonna lower the average by announcing I have only a technical degree (aviation maintenance) and the AA that accompanied it. If what Valve Bouncer says is true I must consider a move to Australia.

At the trade show last year, our booth was right beside one of them. They are huge (for a helicopter). It was "The Incredible Hulk"
