I'm planning on building a mountain cycle fury up. What do y'all think of the Hone/LX v/s FSA V-drive Mega Exo. I want somthing that is going to be light yet durable.

i would go shimano, although i have no experience with either company as far as cranksets go. but , shimano generally works well, and holds up.
although I like the look of the FSAs more, i've had some bad experiences with them in the past, and I think I emailed them about that crankset some time ago, to which they never replied. IMO, if you don't have the time to answer a question about a product, I don't have the time to buy one and find out for myself.

I have a few rides on my new LXs and so far they are great. Same crank as the Hone, I think...
