    It's okay, I just put a heavy set of winter wheels/tires on my XC bike and upped the weight to 25 :P

    I don't think that 3.8 lbs is terrible for a $400 CX frame. Not light, but not ridiculous. For the price, what do you expect?

    Not if it was steel, but 3.8 lbs for AL? Their steel 29er frame weighs 4.2 lbs.

    I dunno - my Redline frame was 3.51 (54cm) pounds, and it's right at about the same price range. Hard to argue with the performance of the Redline Conquest frame.

    Yeah, you can get a 3 pound Ridley or Empella, but it's gonna cost twice what the PX will.

    Update!!!!

    Hot off the press!!!

    it turns out the Uncle John is the same tubeset as the Superlight, with the addition of a disc mount.

    Therefore in actuality, it weighs in at 1380grams or 3.0423792lbs

    :D sweet!
