Good call on Tool and System - alhtough I like Tools Lateralus better.

Tool and SOD are the only ones carrying the torch these days.

Yeah they are both good bands. The reason I picked Aenima is because of that very song. All the crazy Bass and fast drumming with slow lyrics and riffs makes for a very interesting song.

That Quiet Riot Cd is pretty cool too. Well at least that Metal health song is badass.

Slacking at work
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
Ozzy - Diary of a Madman
Maiden - Powerslave

Out of respect for Dimebag, I'll put Vulgar Display on there. It's definitely one of the hardest hitting CDs ever to hit my player.

Metallica had some good stuff back in the day, but they suck so bad now that I refuse to put them on any "best of" list.

It's just wrong that WZ wasn't mentioned until far down the 2nd page. Oh well.....at least someone mentioned them. Queensryche is definitely on my list. Operation Mindcrime and Rage for Order were the best from them. I wonder what Operation Mindcrime II will be like. It's due out early next year if I remember correctly.

I think if I could steal any other posters' CD collections, I would have the most success with those of:

Zark
BurleyShirley
Narlus
& Sideshow Bob

You guys seem to like the same stuff I do...at least in metal. Other people like the same bands, but select the albums that are of lesser value in my eyes. If I go to the trouble of stealing all your CDs, I don't want to have to stand in line forever at the Record & Tape Exchange trading in the crap!
