In the cleavage of the Tetons
So, wifey and I are eating dinner, I had just plugged in the 12v battery for a charge...without warning, it started sputtering, and then smoke came out of the battery...we got it unplugged and put it outside, but it freaked me out. If we hadn't of been home, it easily could have ignited the wood chair that it was on, and the drapes...makes me think of my dog home alone!!!
I have left all sorts of devices to charge, bike light systems, electronics, tools...****, I am kinda freaked. This thing was going to ignite! No moisture, temp changes, nothing. Whaddya think?

I think that happened with a trail rat I owned for 12 hours once. I won't buy nite rider again, because of it. They seemed unconcerned that my house could have burned down. Glad yours did not.
