Whats up?
To begin with, I have rode bmx for 6 years now. I never had any interest in mountain bikes until i became a bike technician at Dicks Sporting Goods. After working on many Mountain bikes at my store im really wanting to get into MtB and hit some trails with some dudes and my gf. Im completely new to the mountain bike scene, and need to know the good websites to get parts, and/or im wanting to buy a 16in (frame size) mtb for around 250 maybe 300, is it possible for me to get a quality bike for that much?

Also i am really stoked about riding mtb, i still ride bmx but i tore my acl twice, so i need something less harsh on my knee, and the knarly trails sounds freaking exciting.

If theres anyone in the Nashville, tn area please pm me.

Thanks

i work for DSG too as a bike tech. go with a pro deal on a diamond back response. good frame to build onto when you get better and want better parts. the frame is pretty solid
