finding a fork for a bike (Old school pre-trek Klein) with a 1" steerer tube?

i'd appreciate any help here peeps. I currently have an old judy on it from before the crowns were pressed on.

do y'all think it would be possible to just send the legs back to have them rebuilt? if i can't find a decent 1" replacement?
