Donald Trump sounds off on Bush, Iraq war

'Apprentice' chief says he would be 'tougher' on terrorism
Donald Trump said in an interview in Esquire magazine that he doubts democracy will be established in Iraq.

Updated: 9:56 a.m. ET July 14, 2004

LOS ANGELES - Billionaire Donald Trump, famous for telling contestants “you’re fired” on his hit NBC show “The Apprentice,” is not happy with the Bush administration’s handling of the Iraq war.

In an interview for the August edition of Esquire to be published on Friday, the magazine says he makes it clear the administration would never keep a job with him.

The Donald and Michael Moore for 2008! They have answers for everything and are on tv all the time so they know what their talking about  . Bush sucks, but I am pretty sure not arresting Bin Laden yet was not planned and him not being caught certainly doesnt help his re-election either.

But still... this is a funny F'ing line: "Tell me, how is it possible that we can’t find a guy who’s six-foot-six and supposedly needs a dialysis machine? "

Besides, I expect a major break in that situation come mid-October...

Irrelevent. Alive or Dead, if we spent even a smidgen of the manpower and billion$ that Iraq has illegitimately siphoned away - we would at least know where the body is [most the pieces anyway  ].

No WMD = no broken treaty = illegal war.

.... and the confusing part is ????????

You have to be a kidding me thinking going into Iraq did not help the fight on terrorism. Saddam used to send money to suicide bombers in Israel. But then again I havent seen Fah 9/11, so I am not educated in this subject.

Additionally, I would'nt be suprised either if Bin Laden was caught in Dec. or Jan right before are "delayed" elections took place.

I'm thinking he's dead. We turned him into a refugee/the worlds most wanted man... and he needs a dialasis machine... which usually is a sign of bad health. Plus, in addition to and also as well... we blew up just about every structure over there where we suspected that he or anybody who's first name started with "O" might have been hiding.

No I have not read this because I dont have Three hours, but common sense tells me that taking an evil dictator out of power is better than leaving him in to kill more of his own people. And about the treaty not being broken, didnt Saddam not let weapons inspectors into certain places until about a month before the invasion deadline. He was playing games with the UN. Saddam and his sons got away with murder (literally) when Clinton was in office.

By the way if I came to a 4 way stop I would go straight, not right or left.

You were talking about terrorism, not tyrants. And this thread is about the spin and misleading use of poor intelligence (that's the Butler report). I would not want Saddam back in power either.

For me it would depend on where I wanted to go...

Yes, there was a some poor intelligence that was spun. Still I am glad we did it and if Donald Trump was president everyone would be fired and all problems solved.

I'm sure you take more left turns that right. :D
