I wonder how long it takes to do one of those. Not to mention the sequence one where he had to erase what he did to start on the next frame. Those are incredible.

I'd be willing to bet the process is far more important to the artist than the end result. To me, that's the mark of a true artist.

in art school, we were all issued a 20" by 20" piece of plywood.
Our assignment was to paint anything on it.

We brought our finished projects in on Monday, proud of what we had done, the teacher said we all did well..........and gave us our next assignment.

Paint anything over our previous painting.

He was teaching us to let go of things we were proud of. We ended up being more creative that way.
