Hey all,
I just finished most of the updates and restructuring the site, and uploaded it last night! It only works properly on Internet Explorer for some reason. Well I've only tested it on IE and Firefox, but Firefox displays it incorrectly. I'm trying to figure what the problem is and I'll have it fixed soon. Peace!! Let me know what you all think!

-Patrick-

Edit: Fixed, I solved the problem with Firefox browser, it will now display properly if you use Firefox. I should also work in Netscape as well if you use Netscape Navigator.

Hey thanks Patrick. Couple of things. First off, thanks for setting up this site you rock! Next up, it doesn't work for Safari users. Now for some constructive critism, the lightening bolts on the homepage gotta go bro and a new color scheme is a must. The site just screams 80's amature porn to me (which isn't always a bad thing, but it is for this). The logo also needs to be reworked. I think we've already had some great logo examples. You could try one of those or tweak out your own. A friend of mine is an incredible graphic designer and web builder. If you'd like some extra help let me know and I'll put you in contact with him. Thats all, keep up the good work and stay sane out there in the tin can.

Ya know what, I feel what your saying. When I designed it at first, I didn't know what colors to use, so I just experimented. Then when I was doing the first updates, I didn't wanna mess with the graphics too much, just wanted to clean them up. Because I wanted to concentrate more on the layout of the site. I honestly don't like the color's at all, and the whole time I was wondering if I should take the lightning bolts out, but thankfully someone said something about it. This is definately not the final and ultimate site for AMBP, it was just something to get us off the ground. I have plans for an incredibly dynamic and good looking website, but I want to work on it with Andy, aka Wikitypooshlag. As him and I have already gotten together and discussed some stuff. I'll change up some of the color's for now,but the design is gonna stay like this for the next few weeks till I get back and can get with Andy, so we can sit down and design a new site.
For the new site, I think I'm gonna have Andy do most of the graphic work because he is a lil stronger in that department than I, as he also has experience with Adobe Illustrator, where as I only know Photoshop. I will do all the coding and development part, and the two of us will work together on the layout of the whole site.
As for your friend, I am always down for another person's opinion's and advice! So PM me his contact info.

Yes, definately! Let's get our name out there! We need to start producing traffic for the website, so we can get sponsor's, and when we are getting more traffic, our sponsor's banner's and advertisement's on our site, will get more traffic! Which only means more success for AMBP, as we'll begin to have money to fund our major project's and to produce more advertisement for AMBP itself. Unfortunately, we are in the stages where AMBP will be needing as much money as we can get, so that we can accomplish our project's and fully support the trail's program at MT Baldy. Then after baldy we can spread through out SoCal, and hopefully build a mountaincross track somewhere in SD county, because I know there are a lot of other people like myself, who would love to have a 4X track in the northern SD area, which would make it more accessible to both SD and OC.

Wow wow wow, take it easy tiger. Yes AMBP needs money for tools, update chairlift for bikes, food for volunteers, etc. But lets move one step at a time. Please don't start plastering posters anywhere until you talk with Mike or myself first. We need to approve the posters errr Baldy Management needs to approve the posters first. Mike and I totally appreciate your eagerness, but we can't just go all out renegade (yet).

Edit: I'm planning on going to the Movie premier party in SB Nov. 4-5th. It'd be great if we could get a poster set up and approved for that. If anybody can hook AMBP up with some free swag for a raffel that be sweet too!

hold up on putting up any posters. i have an updated version that will print much better. the colors on that version are very off. you can't tell much in the pic. i'll get Patrick the updated version of the poster so he can put it up on the site. i also have a matching flyer, so we could leave a stack or whatever at the local shops. and as the designer i'm asking that you please DO NOT!! print any copies of the posters from the pic on the website. that pic is web only and will look like total crap if you try to print it at full size. so if anyone thinks they want to get some posters printed up please PM first and i can email you the PDF for a top a quality print.

BTW Conrad i did get approval from Mike on the poster. hey drop me a PM and we'll get together for a ride and some face to face. i'll be at TWP tuesday afternoon if u wanna meet up for a couple runs.
