yes, i know the national public opinion polls regarding the war are not favorable. i was relating it to the "many people" [of san francisco] as not being very persuasive. my comment about the rest of the country not caring about what SF has to say isn't pinned on the anti-war effort, just in general. sorry if that was misleading.
