American detention camps.

I read all the conspiracy BS during the day to waste time. I don't really participate in the threads, but some of it seems to have a boat load of evidence backing it. I don't know what to believe sometimes. But when I hear of bills being passed to take your 401k, prison camps and other crap, I start to get a little scared.

I would like to know this is a good place to live, the USA that is. But I am finding the more I look at this stuff, the more it scares the sh*t out of me. I have to start meditating again and unplug from all the rubbish.

If all you focus on is the BS and negativity, that's all you are going to see. I am a firm believer that things always work out, no matter what. I do think that the universe is intrinsically a friendly place. I wish I believed that Obama did not have some hidden agenda or is being controlled by the banking elite that is said to control all government.

What gets to me the most is that GREEDY PIGS cause a financial mess and the steady workers like us just bend over while they get bailed out and we have to pay for it. I wish I could start a revolution with 20M people behind me to say we've had it with this corporate political grime, but I just think that when these bailouts come out, the next thing that happens is the super bowl is launched and everybody forgets and doesn't give a sh*t.

Baseball, boobs and beer. It's all this country really cares about, while the political grime screws us over time and time again and we just sit with one thumb in our mouth and one in our ass and stand by and watch like morons.

Whoa, Chalk this up in the record books, I agree with KS.

No one is willing to give up their TV or comfort zone. I say bring it.

Well, if I had enough people with me, I'd gladly throw my television sets into the landfill.

Of course my wife would be pissed as she'd no longer be able to watch Howard TV. Talk about a mind numbing dead synapse activity. It was good the first couple months, but sh*t. How many sets of t*ts can you see before your brain goes dead.

Being on the outside if you will and not being constantly absorbed with "what's supposedly going on", you start to see the way that the media programs you, and how you are essentially limiting yourself to only a portion of reality. Shut off your TV and for the most part the world would seem a relatively happy place.

Murder, rape, fear, death, chaos, terror. They rarely have anything good to say. EVER. I prefer to watch the shows on National Geographic and the shows that inspire you. There are a lot of people out there doing great things, that stimulate the mind, motivate you and not just have you marching to the matrix every day, tail between the legs in fear of your job because of the mortgage.

There's a difference in being moderately concerned about the shape of things or the seeming shape of things brought forth by the media, reality and being in total fear and stress 24/7.

The media pushes fear and chaos, which in turn causes people stress, which keeps big pharma rich. Sometimes I think these conspiracy guys are spot on. However I'm going back to the way I was a year or two ago. TV off, meditation daily and maintaining my inner strength and energy and realizing that compared to the days of the Roman Empire, things aren't that bad.

I'm confused. I'm not all athletic, but isn't the big game set for baseball called the "world series"???

I'm at work, looking at porn on my blackberry, talking smack on forums, snow is falling outside like it's a f^cking movie and just ate a $hitload of leftover meatloaf. Life does not get any better.

W3RD. I'm a whack job. I admit it. I'm a one sided german 2 faced f****ng prick who contradicts himself every 5 minutes. ALRIGHT?

So what about this stuff? Anybody think there is any reality to it? Seriously?

I got to get off the conspiracy forums and spend more time at educational sites like this :brows:

Interesting that Alcee Hastings is better known for "creating controversy" about Sarah Palin than he's known for being a federal judge that was impeached for corruption and perjury...

Will these new detention centers have free beer?

Invade and encompass to judge and dissect
Witness and persecute to serve and protect
To serve, and protect to serve
To serve, and protect to serve

Watchful and aware, constrain every movement
Admit the consequences, freedom's an illusion

Where is security governed through scrutiny?
Your privacy denied, organized and confined!
No place to hide!
No place to hide!

There is no place to hide
Plugged in your mind
Conformed design

To concede your rights
Concede your mind
Surrender to authority

"All must abide and all must adhere"
Future oppression becoming more clear
This is a warning so you must take heed
This coming vision is reality

Where is security governed through scrutiny?
Your privacy denied, organized and confined!
No place to hide!
No place to hide...

One of the most moving days of my life:

When I go to munich, I always get on the S2 U-bahn line to go into the city. One of the stops on the line is Dachau.

I went there on a sunday afternoon and believe me, it was a heavy day. All the beer in germany wasn't able to shake my head that night.

http://www.austinbike.com/travel/germany/dachau/index.asp

I didn't post pictures of the more graphic stuff. It was heavy.

The most impressive part is that the germans didn't bulldoze the place or hide it away. They, more than anyone else, want to make sure this never happens again.

My mother and that whole side of my family were in the camps back in early 40's. Yeah, my family was there in the "relocation" camps but I don't whine and piss and moan about it. I accept it because I can't change it.

My parents took me to the camp where my mom was at (Thule Lake). I've never seen my mom cry so hard and so much. The barb wire, how desolate it was, guard towers and run down buildings...... I was about 14 years old.

People that I've met over the years that learn my mom was there can't believe that I would join the Marine Corps and serve this country for what "they" did to my family. I say, fvck it, I love my country and am willing to serve.
